What an incredible month it has been for the MG community.

Across Australia, MG Awareness Month has sparked a wave of activity, connection and conversation. From partnerships with the Cowboys Rugby League Club and landmark buildings lighting up in support, to guest speakers, community walks and local events, awareness of Myasthenia Gravis has reached more people than ever before.

One initiative that has been quietly building momentum throughout the year has been MAA's Art With Heart project. Thanks to the generosity of artists, businesses, community groups and supporters from across the country, an extraordinary collection of donated artworks and items is now available for bidding.

More importantly, every donated piece represents a conversation. A moment where someone learned about MG, shared a story, offered support, or discovered the value of being part of a caring and connected community.

To everyone who has helped spread the word, donated an item, encouraged participation, or shared the campaign with others, thank you.

And now comes the exciting part.

The Art With Heart auction is officially open.

This is your opportunity to browse the collection, place your bids, and perhaps secure a special piece while supporting an important cause. Bids can be placed, monitored and updated right through until midnight on Saturday 28 June.

Will your favourite item be coming home with you?

If you haven't visited the auction yet, now is the perfect time. Please continue sharing the campaign with family, friends and colleagues, helping us extend the reach of MG awareness even further.

Every dollar raised helps MAA continue and expand its work. As a fully volunteer-run organisation with minimal overheads, funds raised directly support keeping the MG community connected, developing educational resources, strengthening advocacy efforts, and supporting a diverse range of research initiatives.

Together, we are creating awareness, building connections, and making a genuine difference.

Thank you for being part of it. View all of the auction items HERE.

Kind regards
Susan White
MAA Chairperson
