Reminder: Have You Shared Your Experience of Heat and MG Yet?

Recently we announced an important research collaboration between the Myasthenia Gravis Association of Queensland and Queensland University of Technology. This is a gentle reminder that the survey is still open - and we would love to hear from you.
Many people living with myasthenia gravis report that heat and hot weather can significantly worsen symptoms and affect daily life. Yet there remains very little formal research exploring exactly how heat impacts individuals with MG.
This Australian research project aims to change that.
If you are aged 18 years or older and have been diagnosed with myasthenia gravis, you are invited to complete a short online survey about your experiences in the heat. The survey takes approximately 20 to 30 minutes.
Your lived experience matters. The information gathered will help:
- Improve understanding of heat sensitivity in MG
- Strengthen advocacy efforts
- Support awareness campaigns
- Contribute to future research and policy discussions
By participating, you are helping to build evidence that can support better recognition and care for people living with MG.
To participate, please scan the QR code on the attached flyer or access the survey directly via the link by clicking this link.
If you have not yet had the opportunity to complete the survey, we encourage you to consider adding your voice. Every response strengthens the impact of this work.
